Linda Arleen Terbeek

Linda was a dedicated mother, grandmother and wife first and foremost. She treasured her daughter, granddaughter, and husband above all else in her life, and she embraced every moment with them. Her daughter and granddaughter's visits from Hawaii were the highlight of her life! She dedicated her life to those that she loved, and she has selflessly sacrificed for the last nine years caring for her husband who has been battling colon cancer. Linda was adored by all her family, and her "in-laws" never considered her anything but their own family. She was truly a blessing to all who knew and loved her. She had a vivacious personality, a passion for those she loved, and she always brought happiness and laughter to even a tough situation. She made friends everywhere she went. Linda loved gardening, fishing, her dogs, printing and framing pictures of her granddaughter Malia, and most of all, Diet Coke with extra ice! Linda has many family members that will be welcoming her in heaven. These include her grandmothers Bertha, Anna and Eva, her grandfathers Tony, Moy and Clarence, and her father Alan, along with several others who loved and adored her, as well as many beloved pets including Shondi, Snow, Cotton, Peanut, Butter, Sammy, and Molly. She leaves behind her husband Russ, daughter Crystal, granddaughter Malia, daughter Kristen, son Nicholas, mother Armida, sisters Leslie and Carol, brother Bruce, and many extended family members that love and adore her! Linda will be dearly missed by all, and forever in our hearts. Footprints in the Sand One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to me and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way, but I have noticed during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why in times when I needed you most, you should leave me." The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. "When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
