Karen Lou Cerio October 2, 1946 ~ February 8, 2023 Karen Lou Cerio peacefully passed to her eternal home on February 8, 2023 due to heart failure. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Cerio and their three children, A.J., Susan, and Paul, along with their families. As the oldest of six children, Karen also is survived by her siblings Doug, Mike, Janice, Susie, and Trish along with their families. Karen and Joe were delighted with their grandchildren Cory, Nikki, Hannah, Kailyn, Paul David, Wendell, Mya, and Emily. Great joy also came from their 7 great grandchildren. Karen's Celebration of life will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on March 30, 2023 at 12pm. Karen's wish was to write her own good-bye, so her family has selected one of her original poems, published in her book, Life's Dusty Roads to share with all of you: Never Alone By Karen Cerio God came to see me in a dream last night. He said, "My child I love you with all of My might, or I would not have sent My only Son to live and to die for you and everyone. Now child, I have something serious to say. Listen to Me, do not waste an hour or a day worrying yourself about your dearly departed. They are with Me and their life has just started. When the time is right, you'll be together again. With Me you'll live too, it's a matter of when. For now, My child, you have Angels at your side to help you, protect you and be your guide. I know that your loved ones you'll miss forever. But, remember child, you'll be alone never. We'll send you messages in multiple ways. Pay attention and they will brighten your days. The pain will lessen, and may never cease, but you will find comfort and inner peace. Sit still, My child and feel the great I Am, as I hold you in My arms, My dear little lamb."
