Dinah Naumu

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dinah Naumu, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Friend, who left this world peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024. Dinah was born and raised by Dionicio and Demetria Olanda Cole on the Oahu Island of Hawaii, where she also met and married the love of her life Hiram P. Naumu, Jr. whom she has shared a beautiful life with for 53 years. Together, they raised their four sons in Hawaii before moving to Las Vegas 29 years ago. They have since welcomed daughter in laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to their family. All while creating lasting memories with each one. Known for her infectious smile and sense of humor, Dinah's laughter filled every room she entered, and her warm, caring nature touched everyone she met. Dinah was a talented baker and was especially known for her pies, which became a beloved treat for family and friends alike. Her love of cooking and her generous spirit extended far beyond the kitchen. She always opened her heart and home to anyone in need. Dinah made countless friends who will always remember her kindness and generosity. Dinah was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She found strength and purpose in her love of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith guided her throughout her life, and she shared that love with everyone around her. Dinah leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will continue to inspire her family and all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Dinah was preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio and Demetria Olanda Cole, as well as three siblings, John Olanda, Jeanette Olanda Chang, and Dionicio Cole Jr. and by one grandson. She is survived by her devoted husband, Hiram P. Naumu, Jr., and their four sons: Gary (Sharla), Danny (Ulu), Hiram III (Jennifer), and Paul (Jessica), along with 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and siblings, Mildred Tita Reis, Justina Jesse Cabunoc, Margaret Lee, Phillip Cole, Virginia Debra Sandobai, Olivia Sakata, Bella Abang, Mercy Aiu, Bernadette Yoshikawa. Funeral Services will be held in her honor on January 18, 2025. Viewing from 9:30 -11:30 am. and Funeral at 12:00 pm. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 50 E. Azure Blvd, North Las Vegas, NV. 89031. Graveside Services will be held on January 21, 2025 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV. 89005 at 10:40 am. Though she will be deeply missed, Dinah's love, kindness, and her joy will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
