Natividad Martha Taitano

Natividad Martha Taitano, 68, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Born on February 23, 1953 in Santa Rita, Guam USA to the late Jose G. and Maria Q. Taitano. Natividad, also known to many as Dottie, was a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, God mother, friend and most importantly a woman of God. She dedicated her whole life to supporting and helping her family and giving back to the community. Dottie has been a California and Las Vegas resident for over 45 years after relocating from Guam. Dottie was extremely active in the Catholic church. She coordinated many events in her church in California, St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church. Dottie also was a retired Forest Service accountant and certifying officer and worked for the government for over 20 years. Most importantly, Dottie was a family woman, although she was never married and had no children of her own, she had several nieces and nephews that she helped raise as her own. She was the backbone of the Taitano clan and was always the reason the family came together amidst all our busy lives. Dottie may not be here physically anymore, but she will forever live in the hearts of the family and friends she left behind. She is survived by her siblings: Teresita M. Taitano, Lourdes T. Leon Guerrero, Helen R. Tyson, Lila C. Taitano, Joseph Q. Taitano, David J. Taitano, Esther D. Taitano, and Lina T. Sonico. Her nieces and nephews: Jordan E. Taitano ?, Jonathan T. Santos, Arnell C. Leon Guerrero, Joel N. Taitano, Robyn L. Leon Guerrero, Jade M. Taitano, Matthew J. Taitano ?, Dana M. Taitano, Heather J. Tyson, Jake R. Taitano, Samantha J. Taitano, Christopher J. Taitano, Jazmyne M. Taitano, Montana S. Taitano, Marleena L. Sonico, Jacqueline V. Dutt, Julius T. Dutt, Mylani F. Sonico She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews: King Leon Guerrero, Christian T. Leon Guerrero, Joseph Arriola, Angelyse Taitano, Kepuha Leon Guerrero, Trinity Taitano, Kaylani Arriola, Joshiah Santos, Alejandra Taitano, Elijah Santos, Keola Leon Guerrero, Ayla Taitano, Addison Pascal, Maia Quitugua She is predeceased by her grandmother, Felicita Quinata Sablan, her three older sisters, Margarita Q. Taitano, Fermina Taitano, Anisia T. Santos, Katherine R. Taitano. Most recently her two younger sisters passed after her Norma J. Taitano and Melissa M. Taitano. She is also predeceased by her brother-in-laws Avelino Santos and Arthur Leon-Guerrero.
