Milan Grba

Milan Grba, 76, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away suddenly in his home in Las Vegas, on Thursday, December 9th, 2021. Milan was born on April 1, 1945, to Milka and Bogdan Grba in Gornje Grbe, Plaski, Croatia (former Yugoslavia). After Milan graduated from high school in Ogulin, Croatia, he went on to study in Krusevac and Belgrade, Serbia. In 1966, Milan met Dusanka Djuric at Krusevac. Milan and Dusanka went on to have 2 children, Dolores and Marko, and 3 grandchildren, Annabell, Christina and Aleksandra. Milan was predeceased by mother Milka, father Bogdan, sisters Ljubica and Danica. He is survived by wife Dusanka, daughter Dolores, son Marko, and granddaughters Annabell, Christina and Aleksandra. After war started in former Yugoslavia, 1993, Milan moved to the United States with his family and started a new life. He always stayed in touch with his old friends in his old country and made new friendships in his new country. In 2010, Milan retired and spent his time mostly with his grandchildren, walking his dogs and enjoying long beach walks in Port Hueneme, CA where he would spend half of the year with his daughter Dolores and granddaughter Christina. During the other half of the year, he would spend his time in Las Vegas at our family home along with his son Marko's family. He loved to watch tennis and he loved Novak Djokovic. He was looking forward watching Australian Open. We know he will be watching the game, and he will be rooting for his favorite player from a better place. He was known as a kind, generous, and loving person who always had a smile on his face. He was the sweetest and friendliest man who loved all people. Everywhere he went, he'd find someone to talk to and befriend. He was the star of many kids' childhoods which without him, would not have been possible. He was a beaming ray of constant sunshine that could brighten up everyone's day with just one simple smile. He loved making people laugh and he loved making everyone happy. He was a grandfather, a dad, a husband, and a friend, but most importantly, he was a beautiful soul who will be loved and missed forever.
