Michael Albert Berg II

Michael Albert Berg II, a truly beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on May 22, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 54. Born on May 17, 1971, in Simi Valley, CA, Michael brought immense joy, laughter, and a spirit of adventure to all who had the privilege of knowing him. As the eldest son of Michael and Cherie Berg, he cherished his time bmx riding and creating memories at the lake with family and friends. Though he sometimes struggled to express his affection, the love he held for his family ran deep and was unwavering. On October 22, 1994, Michael married the love of his life, Patricia Strecker, in Henderson, NV. Their love story flourished over the years, marked by warmth, support, and a profound understanding of one another. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Michael Berg; his mother, Cherie Berg; and his beloved grandparents, Rosalie and Robert Parker. Their absence will be deeply felt by all who cherished him. His legacy lives on through his beloved family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Karissa; his son, Kristopher; son-in-law Brett, his precious granddaughter, Kaisley; his brother, Jon; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. His family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in watching them grow and flourish. Michael was a hardworking, skilled backhoe operator who dedicated himself to his craft. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, whether camping, riding his ATV at the sand dunes, or cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers. The excitement of roaring engines and the thrill of competition brought him happiness. The sudden loss of Michael has left an indescribable void in the hearts of all who knew him. Yet, his spirit will continue to shine through the love of his family and the many lives he touched throughout his remarkable journey. Rest in peace, dear Michael.
