Leroy Coleman

Leroy Coleman was born on August 6, 1950, to the late Royleane Price and Eunice White inShreveport, Louisiana. He Attended Elizabeth Baptist Church in Shreveport where hesurrendered his life to Christ at a young age and was baptized.After moving to several different states as a child with his mother, siblings, and stepfather whowas in the Air Force, they eventually moved to Las Vegas , Nevada where his parents put downroots and settled into a forever home for retirement in 1968. Leroy attended Ed W. Clark HighSchool as a senior and graduated.Soon after graduating he met and married his first wife, Dr. Barbara Coleman. Almostimmediately following their nuptials he was drafted into the United States Army and deployed toVietnam. He served our country with pride and valor for three years before being honorablydischarged. Upon his successful completion of his service to our country, he returned toLas Vegas and secured employment with Sparkletts Water Distribution Company. He remainedemployed there for numerous fulfilling years. He enjoyed interacting, socializing, and serving thecommunity, providing excellent customer service to all he encountered with his charm andcharisma.He was blessed with two sons, Maurice Coleman and Taylor Coleman whom he loved. Heleaves them to carry on his name and legacy with the same kind heart, strength, and zest for lifethey all share in common. He married his current wife, Vera Coleman, in 2016. They createdbeautiful memories that are rare and everlasting . They lived, loved, and laughed a lifetime inonly eight years that will never be forgotten.Preceding him in death are his grandparents; Sallie Mae Jenkins and Roy Coleman, parents;Royleane Price, Eunice White, Jeff Price (stepfather), brother; Jeffrey Wayne Price Jr, uncles;Dale Robinson and Andrew Robinson, nephew; Archie Chedrick McGeeLeaving to celebrate his home going are his wife, Vera Coleman, two sons; Maurice (Mariah)Coleman, Taylor Coleman, stepchildren; Brandye Thomas, Karlita(Taneshia) Pech Powell,Veronica Royal, sisters; Dessie Coleman, Susie(*Herman*)Everett, Janice(Anthony) Logan,Renee Feazell, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, otherfamily, and friends
