Leonard Ralph Patinsky

Leonard Ralph Patinsky of Las Vegas, NV went home to his Lord and Savior, peacefully with his son by his side on 5-2-2023. Leonard was born in Brooklyn, NY on 8-23-1942 to Charles and Henrietta Patinsky. He was the youngest of two children. In 1968, Leonard met the love of his life, Pam and they were later married on February 15, 1969. They recently celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. Leonard grew up in California and was a graduate of Warren high school in the city of Downey. In 1999, Leonard and Pam moved to Missouri, where they resided for 20 years. In 2019, they decided to move to Arizona and later to Las Vegas, NV to live out their retirement. Leonard was employed by Carpenter Technology, a company that manufactures steel products and worked as a delivery driver and later a warehouse shift leader. He retired after 30 years and maintained some lifelong friendships with several of his co-workers. He later worked as a limo driver and school bus driver during his retirement. Leonard had a passion for the sport of baseball and played in the minor leagues for the Boston Red Sox during the 1960's before he served in the Army for 2 years during the Vietnam war. He loved watching all kinds of sports, but was a die-hard LA Dodgers and LA Lakers fan! For those that knew him, he was an encyclopedia of sports knowledge and always enjoyed talking about the history of many sports, especially baseball. He also has a passion for music and some of his favorite artists were Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones. Leonard was also a dog lover and over the course of his life, he and his wife rescued over 10 dogs. Leonard is survived by his sister, Patricia Whitecloud of Long Beach, CA, son and daughter-in-law Craig Patinsky and Jennifer Goode of Nixa, MO, grandson Anthony Patinsky of Springfield, MO, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mark and Lori Nasabal of Fruit Heights, UT, nephews, Gary Nasabal of Springfield, MO and Kurt Nasabal of Ogden, UT, nieces Lisa Aguirre of Springfield MO, Jill Nasabal of Seattle, WA, and Michelle Nasabal-Prevedel of Ogden, UT. He is preceded in death by his wife Pamela Patinsky, son Eric Joiner, father Charles Patinsky, mother Henrietta Patinsky and Brothers-in-law Dennis Nasabal, Steve Nasabal, and Gary Nasabal. He will be greatly missed! In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Leonard's honor to the Humane Society.
